In U14’s, Linaciroso finally wins and Carla Grau is the big surprise.
The Spanish team competing in the Borrufa Trophy 2013 finished the second day with an excellent performance. Mikel Linacisoro managed to beat yesterday’s winner, the Russian skier Nikita Gurianov, thanks to an impeccable second heat, in which he was more than 1” ahead of all his opponents. His teammate Carla Grau emulated him, being the only girl to get a time under 56” in the second heat. That way she managed to advance from fourth to first in the overall ranking, also beating out a Russian skier, Anastasi Gornostaeva. Doriane Escane, who everyone thought would be the winner again today, pulled out during the second heat, providing the major shock of the day.
