The U16 category of the Borrufa Trophy 2014 starts with great parity.
In both boys and girls, the U16 category was won by only a few hundredths of a second on the first day of the Borrufa Trophy 2014, which was determined by the weather and the parity, especially amongst the girls. The Spaniard Aingeru Garai and the British Anna Henderson were the winners of today’s intense and close races. In this category, the competition started off on the slope Les Canals with the Special Slalom and then continued on the slope Portella del Mig with the Supergiant slalom. The first heat’s results already pointed towards a very close fight for the winning positions and, in fact, at the end, the difference amongst the 6 first girls was less than 1 second. Amongst the boys, it was also a difference of less than 1 second that separated, in this case, the first three competitors.
