The Borrufa Trophy 2016 starts with clear wins for Belgium in U16 and more rivalry in U14
Basile Lefèvre and Julie de Leeuw were the first winners in the U16 category of the 24th Borrufa Trophy. Moreover, the Belgian team managed to get another of its competitors on this category’s podium (third). Clearly, a great start of the competition for Belgium in U16. Amongst the younger skiers in the category up to 14 years old, there was more variety on the podium as far as nationalities go. Nonetheless, Italian skier Anna Momicchioli and Nicolas Pirozzi from Chile were very efficient in obtaining the victory. A total of 250 skiers of 30 different nationalities have signed up for the Andorran event, held on the slopes of Vallnord and valid for the international ski competition for children.
